How To Register for 2009 GSA Convention

All GSA Convention participants are required to fill out a registration form that includes a waiver that needs a signature. This should be turned on the day of the event. Attendees under 18 will need parent/guardian signature on the form. The registration table will be located in the Danforth University Center at Washington University.

Who Should Attend
This GSA Convention is designed for area high school and middle school students, their supportive school club sponsors and other school officials.

Special Note: If you know you are coming for sure, please drop us an email with your name and your school. Pre-registration is not required but does give us a sense of how many attendees to plan for.

Parking at Wash U, Metrolink, and School Buses

PARKING AT THE UNIVERSITY:
The best bet for parking on campus for this event is to park UNDER the Danforth University Center. There are ample spots and it is $1 per hour with a maximum of $5. Carpools encouraged. If you choose not to park in the garage, be mindful not to park in the areas of the parking lots that are designated with RED signs. On the weekends you can park for FREE in the parking lots with YELLOW signs.

USING THE METROLINK
There is a Metrolink station at the corner of Skinker and Forest Park Parkway. This station is next to Kayak's Coffee. From the station walk southwest towards Washington University and you will be able to follow Forsyth Blvd. up to the Danforth University Center. Plan your trip with this map.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT BUS DROP OFF
Some schools are planning on using one of their school buses to come to the convention. The university has asked that all buses drop off and pick up at the front of the university, which faces Skinker Boulevard. Please plan your time accordingly as this is a slight walk to the Danforth University Center. Here is a map to the front of the school. You will be arriving at the intersection of Brookings Drive and Hoyt Drive. It is easy to find.
